Become A Mentor
Our mentors are diverse and have experiences in a variety of school settings. By becoming a mentor, you can support educators from all over the world!

Our Mentors Are...
Great Listeners
Our mentors take the time to read their mentee’s intake form and understand their concern. During the session they actively listen and ask clarifying questions. For return sessions, mentors remember their mentees!
Practical
Our mentors collaborate with their mentees whether that's to set goals, make a plan, or learn skills so that mentees feel capable of improving and have a measure indicating when that improvement has occurred.
Reliable
Our mentors keep their availability up to date and ensure that they are prepared for every session. Our mentors arrive at least 5 minutes early in case any technical issues arise.
Humble
Our mentors recognize that different contexts may require different approaches. They can recognize the limitations of their guidance, brainstorm different approaches, and seek out more information when needed.
Professional
Our mentors uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and respect in all interactions. They use appropriate language and host mentor sessions in a professional space.
Feedback Driven
Our mentors take the time to reflect on mentee feedback. They seek to improve and even seek out resources to help them provide a better mentoring experience!

What are group sessions?
Group sessions are a way for people to try mentorship at a lower cost and to connect and learn with others who are having a similar challenge. It's also a great way for mentors to promote their individual mentoring sessions.
A mentor will lead the session (30-60 minutes) and provide their own material based on their own expertise.
